Vegan fast food is rocking at the V Burger eatery just south of Union Square in NYC. V Burger’s passion for the vegan lifestyle is evident in their menu, decor, and prominently displayed commitment to donate 10% of their profits to the awesome animal rights non-profit organization Mercy for Animals. Vegan is SO on the map here and all over the world.
V Burger Menu
V Burger serves up the vegan version of your classic fast food fare – plant-based vegan burgers (traditional style or black bean, with vegan cheese optional), chili hot dogs, shakes, fries, onion rings, sloppy joes, and more. If you have a hankering for a burger and fries or onion rings (my fave), you’re going to love it here.
Also, the desserts are off the chain! Me and my friends (including some omnivores) gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to the vegan whoopie pies and tiramisu.
If you’re in the mood for some healthier eats, V Burger has some salad options too and kombucha on tap.
Just south of Union Square on Broadway between 12th and 11th street is where you’ll find V Burger. Take out or eat in. A comfortable atmosphere with bar stools and small tables makes for a good place to chat and chew.
Some words of wisdom grace the walls with none other than Albert Einstein’s famous quote, ” Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.” If Einstein was alive today, I believe the word vegan would replace vegetarian in his declaration about the state of survival of life on earth.
