Vegan comedian Myq Kaplan took some time to visit with me before yet another vegan event in NYC. Always supporting events and organizations that promote a cruelty-free lifestyle, Myq was on his way to deliver his unique brand of comedy at Jasmin Singer’s birthday party slash Our Hen House fund-raising event.
The week before he did some stand-up at Farm Sanctuary’s Walk for Farm Animals and he was hilarious.
I thought it would be great to catch up with him about why he’s vegan, what’s up with all his vegan comedy, what he thinks about time travel and the like. My apologies for not maintaining my composure. He had me in stitches.
By the way, we kid, we really do like that little vegan girl who spoke at the Farm Sanctuary walk.
So here it is, from the streets of NYC’s lower east side, our interview with Myq Kaplan.
This guy is talented for sure. His new album is out,
Vegan Mind Meld which is not just for vegans.

I was so excited to learn that Myq does musical comedy and will be doing some shows and recordings. I’m a big fan of New Zealand singing comedy duo Flight of the Conchords and now I can’t wait to check our Myq’s brand of musical comedy. Sweet!
