Farm Sanctuary’s Walk for Farm Animals’ annual event is here again and I’m totally in. In it to win it for the animals this. I would love to raise some money to help save more animals from cruelty and promote a more compassionate lifestyle. The New York City walk is taking place this Sunday, October 23rd.
I don’t want to get too crazy, but I’ve set my goal to raise 100,000 dollars!! Actually, this BIG city vegan is going to take it down a few notches as I don’t quite yet have millions of followers, so I’ve actually set my sites on $1000 to raise. Let’s see how it goes.
I would jump up and down and be completely elated for even a $5 contribution! I might jump on my couch like Tom Cruise on Oprah. In fact, if you make a contribution and comment here that you’d like to see me do this, I will create a video after my walk of me doing that or something equally as ridiculous.
Please join me and together we can make the world a more compassionate place! Click on ‘Make a Donation!’ below to contribute.
Farm Sanctuary is an amazing organization that rescues farm animals from abuse and and provides a home for them at their 2 shelters, one in New York and the other in California. They rescue, educate and advocate for these lovable beings. Animals can’t talk, someone has to speak up for them and Farm Sanctuary is doing just that. Let’s help them continue to do so.
Check out this short 3 minute video featuring Susie Coston, Farm Sanctuary’s National Shelter Director, and the farm animals rescued in 2010. They are seriously adorable.
